Kazu: Lovely to meet you. Time to go.
Panel 2: Having recovered his wits, the Takazaki samurai stalks across the teahouse, his sword in one hand and the other rubbing at his face. In the background, Kazu takes the waitress by the hand and pulls her to her feet.
Panel 3: By the front door, Ichiro has drawn his sword and stepped in front of Resunotek. He looks grimly determined; she looks surprised and afraid.
Panel 4: A close-up of the Takazaki samurai’s face. He scowls.
Takazaki samurai 2: You wanna be first, kid?
Panel 5: From outside the teahouse, we see the shoji door lit from within. Ichiro’s silhouette stands on the other side, sword held aloft in one hand. Resunotek crouches beside him, arms over her head. A wet splatter stains the paper by the arc of Ichiro’s blade.
Panel 6: The Takazaki samurai reels, his arm severed above the elbow. Blood, rendered in red, spurts from the stump and splatters on his clothing. He looks at the injury with horror. The background is filled in black with a white outline around the man.
