Thumbnail of Panel 6, described below.

Ya boy is back, and he’s doing…not great, but he’s still kicking.

Thanks for your patience during the brief hiatus. I should be back on time on Friday as well.

Just some blood on this page. Find the whole thing below:

Image description:

A seven-panel, almost entirely black-and-white comic page.

Panel 1: We rejoin Ichiro as he makes his way slowly south to the city. He walks among snow-covered pines, an arm wrapped around his belly, his footsteps indicating that he’s favoring the right side.

Panel 2: A close-up of his face as, in response to some sound, he raises his head. He can only manage to express mild curiosity, and his eyes are hollow and half-open.

Panel 3: From his perspective, we look through the tree trunks and down on the scene from the last page. Resunotek, in her winter costume, brandishes her knife at the three bandits, who are closing in on her.

Ichiro (off-panel): Bandits.

Panel 4: Another shot of his face. He ducks his head and grimaces, a look of anger, pain, grim determination, or some combination thereof.

Panel 5: Standing among the trees, he braces his bow between his legs and bends it to string it. On his back, his quiver of arrows and the handle of the knife embedded there can be seen.

Panel 6: In a dramatic mid-body shot, he draws the bow, bringing the fletching of the arrow back to his ear.

Panel 7: We see the same shot from behind, in silhouette. Around the knife, the wound opens again, and fresh blood (rendered in red) soaks into his clothing.
