There’s another trope at work here, in addition to the Only One Bed, but I’m not sure what it’s called. Awkward Domesticity?
Also, I love edge lighting.

Image description:
A six-panel, black-and-white comic page.
Panel 1: A close-up of Resunotek’s tattooed hands on Ichiro’s back, cleaning his wound with a cloth. It has improved vastly since last we saw it, and much faster than the time passed should allow, and now is only a dark line with neat stitches in it. Tiny green filaments, the only color on the page, gather around Resunotek’s fingers where they touch his skin.
Ichiro (off-panel): You took me on to protect you.
Panel 2: Seen from the front, Ichiro turns his head to regard Resunotek, who sits behind his right shoulder. A little light comes from the tent opening, somewhere behind them.
Resunotek: You can’t protect me if you freeze to death. And you won’t be getting far tomorrow if you don’t sleep.
Panel 3: A closer shot of Resunotek’s face. She glances to the side, considering another angle.
Resunotek: Besides, you’d be wearing our only blanket.
Panel 4: Ichiro puts on his kimono, his hands on the collar. He bows his head and looks away. Behind him, Resunotek yawns, covering her mouth with one hand.
Panel 5: They both lie on the straw cloak, Ichiro facing away from Resunotek and toward the left side of the panel. She draws the blanket over them both.
Resunotek: Where are we going now?
Panel 6: A close-up of Ichiro’s face as he lies on his side. He looks particularly unhappy. The blanket is up around his shoulders.
Ichiro: Harutoru. It’s a port on the southern edge of the island.
