Image description:

A seven-panel, black-and-white comic page.

Panel 1: The battered cooking pot among some burning stubs of logs in a circle of stones. Smoke swirls around it, and some kind of grain is cooking inside.

Resunotek (off-panel): We’re out of supplies. We’ll need to move on.

Panel 2: Resunotek from the shoulders up, with the blanket draped over her shoulders. She tucks an errant curl of hair behind one ear.

Resunotek: I have to go south, but I can take you home, if you want.

Panel 3: Ichiro sits in the bottom corner of the panel, knees drawn up to his chest and his arms crossed over them, ducking his head to partially hide his face.

Ichiro: No. You can’t.

Panel 4: Inset over the next panel. Resunotek twists up her face in confusion and maybe a bit of annoyance.

Resunotek: If you say so.

Panel 5: A wide panel of of the tent and its frame of sticks, Resunotek standing and stretching her arms out, Ichiro sitting by the fire looking up at her, and two large trees in the background.

Resunotek: I’ll set some snares and look for more medicine. There must be something around here.
If you can walk tomorrow, we’ll try for the next village.

Panel 6: A closer shot of Ichiro, looking at the ground with his arms crossed over his knees.

Ichiro: I can walk.

Panel 7: Slightly closer, he looks up.

Ichiro: You’re taking me with you?
