Last Watch Before Dawn: Volume 1, Page 67

Thumbnail of Panel 4, described below.

Here is a pattern that repeats.

Resunotek: Do you need medical attention?
Ichiro: I am able to continue physical exertion.
Resunotek: That’s not what I asked.

I might need to cut one or more iterations of this if it gets too repetitive.

In the meantime, onward and forward!

Image description:

A six-panel, black-and-white comic page.

Panel 1: Ichiro sits next to Resunotek on the massive fallen tree. He holds the rice ball in his hand, and his shoulders slump in relief. She cradles the basket in both hands while she looks at him.

Panel 2: Ichiro’s face in profile, looking back at Resunotek sidelong. Her hand comes in from out of frame to check his temperature, resting her palm on his forehead.

Resunotek (off-panel): Does it hurt?

Ichiro: I’m fine.

Panel 3: We see Resunotek looking back at him, a frustrated expression on her face.

Resunotek: I just want to know if you need more medicine.

Panel 4: Ichiro, seen from the front, looking both nonplussed and a bit distressed. He looks at Resunotek (to his right).

Ichiro: I– I don’t know.

Panel 5: We see a rural village in the evening. A semicircle of thatched-roof houses sits around a muddy, well-trampled clearing in the snow. The shadows are long, stretching back and to the right (If the path into the village comes from the north, the sun is in the west and fairly low).

Panel 6: In the middle of the muddy clearing, Resunotek offers some herbs to a tall, balding man in a fur vest and long robe. Beside him, a woman with her hair tied up in a scarf gathers two small children to her. She’s looking at Ichiro, warily. He stands behind Resunotek, a hand resting on his sword.
