I’m prepping ramen today (the softboiled eggs need to marinate overnight), so here’s this page really quick. It’s got some blood in it, and is largely depressing, but nothing too bad.
Also I forGOT HIS QUIVER AGAIN LAST PAGE, ARGH

A five-panel, black-and-white (and red) comic page.
Panel 1: We see the same scene from the last page, with Ichiro propped up against a post and the ruins of the Satake estate behind him. Time has passed–the fire has burned down, leaving cinders and scorched posts, snow has fallen, covering the skeletal remains of the Satake, the ruins, and Ichiro, and the scene is darkened.
Caption: It has also, for the moment, denied you death.
Panel 2: A close-up as Ichiro wakes up, a look of confusion on his face. There is snow in his hair and on his shoulders. He is much worse for wear, his eyes heavily shadowed and his lips split and bleeding. He breathes in short pants, indicated by small puffs of steam.
Panel 3: A more distant shot as he pulls himself to his feet using the burnt fence post. There’s a depression in the snow where he was lying before. His legs look unsteady.
Panel 4: From the waist down, we see Ichiro making his way through the snow, moving toward the viewer. He leaves deep footprints and a spattering of blood behind him.
Panel 5: We’re back at the crossroads, indicated by the signpost with the two sigils (a circle with a cross through it and a left-facing hook with two lines on the bottom). The bodies left behind here are completely covered in snow. A crow perches on top of the signpost, its wings folded, facing the viewer. Ichiro’s footprints wind among the snowy mounds, and the bleeding appears to be getting worse.
