Good morning!

It’s very rare that I listen to (and therefore feature) music released this year, much less this week, so enjoy.

New pages of Last Watch Before Dawn this week, and don’t forget about the Kenosha Book Festival on Sunday! I’ll have new bookmarks and plenty of books to sign for you (or you can bring me a copy you already have, and I’d be happy to sign it and write you a note). Here’s the Facebook event, if that helps. In addition to all the local and indie authors, there will be a huge used book sale, story time with Belle from Beauty & the Beast, and a food truck bringing something called “pizza cones.” I’m not sure what this means, but pizza is pretty good no matter what shape it comes in.

In May, I’ll be at What the Hex: The Magician (Sunday, May 3) and another Spooky Frog Horrifying Book Fair (Saturday, May 16).

Good morning! The Arctic chill is moving on, at least for now, and the sun is shining. I never listen to the groundhog, because here it will be at least six more weeks of winter regardless of what he sees when he pops out of his burrow. I hope you are well.

I’ll have a new chapter of Journey to the Water up on Patreon tomorrow, though it might end up being a little late. The latest chapter of The Book of the New Moon Door will be here on Wednesday at the usual time (noonish).

I’m back to my regular nonsense this week: a new chapter of Journey to the Water will be up on Patreon tomorrow, and the latest chapter of The Book of the New Moon Door will be up here on Wednesday. I’m considering making one of these my NaNoWriMo project, to get ahead and closer to the editing stage. If you have any thoughts about which one you’d like to see get done faster, let me know in the comments below!

I’m also working on a monthly newsletter (finally) and the next episode of The Well Below the Valley.

Happy Monday! It’s Valentine’s Day, so in honor of the beheaded performer of marriages, tell someone you love them and be sure to pick up half-priced chocolate tomorrow.

In other news, Part Two of The Book of the New Moon Door is starting on Patreon next week and here on the blog the week after! I’ll be alternating between Journey and New Moon Door until one or both are finished. Patreon subscribers will be getting each chapter a week early, so if you haven’t yet, consider subscribing! There will also be a Patreon-exclusive project coming in March.
