Song of the Week

Ray LaMontagne, “Empty”

Happy Monday! Moving house is proving to be a lot more involved than I had anticipated, so I’m already a little very behind on NaNoWriMo. Hopefully I can catch up this week.

New chapter of Beyond the Frost-Cold Sea will post on Wednesday. I probably won’t be streaming this week, as the gaming computer will need to be packed up and moved, but I should be back at that soon.

I hope everyone has an excellent week.

Song of the Week

Loreena McKennitt, “The Mystic’s Dream”

Happy Monday! Today is my birthday, so I hope everyone is having a very good day. This week, we’re starting the next chapter of The Well Below the Valley, and things are about to get very serious for our intrepid investigators. I’ll also be on Twitch on Thursday.

My small family is going to be moving house in November. Hopefully, that won’t cause any disruptions to your regularly scheduled content, but I’ll be sure to post some kind of notice if I’ll be without Internet for any significant length of time.

I have a Ko-Fi! Blog content will always be free, but if you like what I do and want to help me keep doing it, please consider supporting me: https://ko-fi.com/madelinecrane

Song of the Week

Kamelot, “Temples of Gold”

Happy Monday! It’s my friend Brooke’s birthday today. I wrote something to commemorate it last week, which you can find here.

I was sick all last week, and have plenty of work to catch up on now that the powers of breathing have returned to me. Not to worry, the next chapter of Beyond the Frost-Cold Sea will go up on Wednesday as scheduled. I’ll also be on Twitch on Thursday!

I hope you enjoy this beautiful late-October week!

Song of the Week

“Everything Stays,” from the Adventure Time soundtrack

Good morning and happy Monday!

This week, I’ll have the rest of Chapter One of The Well Below the Valley up on Wednesday. You’ll get the solution to the puzzle in the first half, as well as another puzzle that leads to Chapter Two.

I’ll also be on Twitch on Thursday!

I hope everyone has a good week.

Song of the Week

Tori Amos, “Past the Mission”

Happy Monday, everyone!

It suddenly became fall last week, so I am typing this from inside multiple sweaters.

This week, I’ll post the next chapter of Beyond the Frost-Cold Sea. You’ll meet some new characters and learn what’s happening in Phyreios, so stop back in on Wednesday!

I’ll also be streaming on Twitch on Thursday.

See you around!

Song of the Week

Florence + the Machine, “Blinding”

Happy Monday! I’m back!

This week, I’ll have the first half of the first chapter of The Well Below the Valley. It was just too long for one post, but I am very excited to start posting the campaign proper. As always, you can catch up on previous posts under the “Read my writing” tab, and each post has a forward and a back link.

I’ll also be streaming on Twitch on Thursday. It seems to be the better day for the people who occasionally watch, so I want to try it out.

I hope you all have a lovely week.

Song of the Week

Loreena McKennitt, “Penelope’s Song”

It’s Monday again. Funny how that happens. I won’t be streaming on Twitch tonight, as several forces have converged to give me too many things to do today, but I plan to stream Thursday evening instead. On Wednesday I’ll be posting the next chapter of Beyond the Frost-Cold Sea, so be sure to stop by again then.

On Friday and going into next week, I’ll be participating in the Global Climate Strikes, so there will be a brief hiatus while that is going on—I’ll have more information about that later this week.

Please enjoy this song, and have an excellent week.

Song of the Week

London Grammar, “Leave the War With Me”

Happy Monday!

This week, I’ll be posting all the rest of the introductory material for The Well Below the Valley. You’ll meet the four player characters who braved the adventure with me and see how I introduced each of them to the mystery plot, plus the first of many handouts. Please enjoy this song, which I chose as the unofficial theme song for the campaign.

I’ll be on Twitch this evening playing Enderal, so feel free to stop by!

Song of the Week

Shawn James, “One I Love” (traditional Irish folk song)

Please enjoy this song. I’ll be on Twitch this evening playing Enderal: Forgotten Stories, and I’ll be back Wednesday with a new chapter of Beyond the Frost-Cold Sea. See you then!
